This exercise is also a mandatory part of my training program. I do at least a couple of sets per workout.
The 20-kilogram barbell throw is a kind of strike simulation, engaging exactly the same muscles that are activated at the moment of delivering the strike itself.
And in this exercise, the most important thing is to try to throw the barbell using your legs; your arms should perform only a guiding function.
If this is difficult, it's better to take a lighter barbell, since this is not strength work and the goal is not to build muscle.
