my coach vik
My coach Vic. Incredibly open, kind, and warm-hearted. He even offered me food recently, knowing the situation Russians abroad find themselves in. I still have food and money to live on, but the fact that he offered it already says a lot. Just being around him lifts my mood and my desire to train. I don't remember ever training in any club with such pleasure. Always glad to see Vic. I hope someday I'll return to Playa and we'll keep training.
I'd like to one day fight for some title or call out Jake Paul, making a pile of cash from the fight 💰 Alright, enough dreaming, ahead is Catemaco – the city of witches. Boxing can wait.
I felt at home in this club, in one big and friendly family. That's how it usually goes with athletes, in my experience. Sport brings people together, makes them kin. A feeling from somewhere in childhood, when you go to the club after school, where everyone's equal, except maybe the coaches, and we have nothing to divide among ourselves. On the contrary – we help our comrade-in-arms become better, stronger, more accomplished. That's what brotherhood is.
With mixed feelings
Sorrow from parting
And anticipation of something new,
Arthur O'Harra.
