strength is impersonal, it doesn't seek support from external attributes, it comes from within
Strength is impersonal—it doesn't seek support from external attributes, but comes from within. It has no interest in anyone's confirmation or approval, praise or any other reaction; any attempt to lean on something nearby will ultimately lead to failure.
You will inevitably crash if you depend on anything external or anyone—if not today, then tomorrow, the day after, in a year or ten—but your ship will shatter against the rocks as long as there's something inside you that needs protection, constancy, stability, preservation of form unchanged.
Personal strength needs none of this. What's more, all of it only hinders its expression. For its essence lies not in stability—it lies in fluidity! The ability to be flexible, to be faster than the clinging structures of established rules, laws, and dogmas.
By letting go of your senile urge to cling to crutches and props—which none of you actually need—strength will begin to awaken in you, moving contrary to the commands embedded in your consciousness to hide behind yet another mask and lie. You don't need to wear a mask to be yourself! Nor do you need to limit yourself in expression! Self-limitation is the chief—perhaps even the only—sin, and one of the forms of masks.
You already are who you are, and the number of masks on you won't help express your true self—it's a dead-end path that will lead you nowhere—check and see for yourself. You'll waste time and resources on a false path that will make you regret your own stupidity and cowardice.
I'm talking about real strength, not those flashy bubbles of status, money in a bank account, social standing, and everything the majority of us crave so much. All of the above are consequences of strength, never causes—so chasing after all this, you might become richer, more successful, climb to the top of the career ladder, bending over hundreds of times along the way for someone more authoritative and powerful—but you won't emerge from this race stronger, let alone happier—instead, you'll remain the same dependent, sniveling, trembling weakling, wrapped in a beautiful, golden, and promising wrapper.
All you need, if you wish to awaken something truly real within yourself—is to let yourself go and trust. And it—strength—will flow through you, through your veins, nerves, spine, and ignite your inner core. Your spirit will rejoice, your soul will delight, and this will be you—true, wild, alive—real!
All the strength is inside you, and there's no need to seek it. There's no need to seek yourself anywhere either—under some rock or branch, as other madmen do—first and foremost, you need not to get in your own way—beneath a thick layer of lies and indecision lies a sensitive, subtle nature that always knows what it needs from every moment.
Open up and relax, let yourself go and breathe. And stop clinging to utter nonsense when you stand at the threshold of eternity, watching the trail of fading galaxies with your gaze...
