I walk through the streets of evening Coatzacoalcos, almost no one on the streets, time – 9:30 PM. Searching for a suitable gym to train in. I've checked out several. Looks like there's no proper gym here.
If it's a martial arts gym, there are no equipment for physical exercises – pull-up bars, dumbbells, barbells, etc., which I use to develop strength and striking speed. If it's a regular weight room, there's no boxing bag. Annoying. For quality training, I need both.
I'll probably go to the weight room for a couple of weeks, until I return to Playa (if). By then, maybe my rib will fully heal, the one an American cracked for me in the first round of sparring. What bad luck. )) A small crack, but painful.. I couldn't throw uppercuts or hooks this whole time. Only straight jabs. And the hit wasn't even strong. Bad angle – a semi-hook-semi-uppercut from somewhere slightly behind my back. It happens.. And worse. ))
